Twilight movie opened with $69,637,740 this weekend. A vampire romance movie based on New York Times Best Seller Novel by Stephenie Meyer. The movie is said to be the fourth highest opening in 2008. Now, who cares if it’s a low-budget film. Edward Cullen is to die for. haha

Invading the Supernatural Realm – Science and Beyond
On a scorching, monotonous Sunday afternoon – like, just sitting on the bed while the TV is on but you’re not really paying attention to it because all you care is that, you just have to hear a sound or sitting on a sofa idly, staring at the pile of books waiting for you to browse through the pages of them while most people or the rest of the living things are spending it on the luxury of sleep, and others are desultorily drifting in the malls, sitting in a corner holding an ice cream cone, and licking through chocolate flavored ice cream with some sprinkles on top or whatever flavor suits you. This is indeed a dreary Sunday.
Out of my boredom……
After several months of procrastinating, I’ve finally decided to finish reading “Twisted” by Jessica Zafra and towards the end of the book just by the page entitled “A Walk with Life and Death” she said “What if dead people walked the earth, showing themselves to living people who hadn’t read their obituaries? Wouldn’t it completely alter your perception? I mean, you could be sitting in a restaurant, unaware that you are surrounded by dead people. I think it’s a lovely idea, having tea with ghosts. As long as I didn’t know they were ghosts.” I think that it is funny in an eccentric way, I mean, come to think of it, having tea with ghosts or you are in a washroom cubicle and you asked for a toilet paper from the person on the other cubicle without knowing that he/she is a ghost. GOSH!
I’m open-minded and a free thinker but my stand when it comes to beliefs on the ethereal beings is quite neutral as opposed to believing they do exist or not. I’m a lover of mystery though or anything that requires a perception of great intellectual strength and beyond what is ordinary. I remember when I was a child, me and my childhood friends would gather in a corner in the street of our village, and would talk about our personal experiences on supernatural beings, and since I haven’t really experienced anything personally, I would tell them about ghost stories I’ve heard from other people until one day, I felt like I was the only one who hadn’t experience it or who knows maybe they are just making up stories, so much to my frustration I mustered to make up a one good story. I told them about a Kapre, for those of you who are unfamiliar (according to Jessica – Kapre is a large, dark-skinned, hairy man said to live in trees and smokes foot-long cigars) it was standing underneath a secluded coconut tree in the vacated basketball court nearby. It made them all stare at me in awe and possibly convinced that my story was true. One thing for sure though, I didn’t make up any ghost stories after that even until today.
I am puzzled, if these supernatural beings were true or merely just a product of imagination and what does science has to say. Although I haven’t heard nor read anything about science confirming these beings were true. I’m just wondering if they were true, what type of matter are they. Considering that there are four states of matter – solid, liquid, gas, and plasma and there are also four elements of matter – earth, air, fire, and water, so where do they fall? If you know anything, let me know. I have one more question, this is not very much related to my subject but it just occurred to me since I’m feeling somewhat scientific today LOL. Science and medicine claim that most diseases are caused by heredity or genetic. If all of us are from the same ancestry pertaining to Adam and Eve how come there are healthy genes and how come there are some who are doomed to have cancer just because it’s in their genes. If you believe in creation, it’s tantamount to believing that we all came from the same genes. If you believe in something else then perhaps you have an explanation.
Bacolod Here we Come.
Wow, how I terribly missed blogging. It’s been a while since I’ve blogged about anything that’s been going on around me. I miss telling you all the mundane stuff that I’ve had in my scintillant life. I had a tough week, gosh I was so close to spitting profanity to everyone who is responsible for giving me a real whacked out time at work. It’s my last week at work and it seems that people have prodigiously managed to get on my nerves big time. At some point, I had almost convinced myself to “F***k IT, I’m gonna say what’s on my mind” and surely, people will not like it if I have said exactly what I was thinking. It’s a good thing that I have managed to remain rational all the way, and I have contained my anger and vexation quite unbelievably. After all, what is one week of misery, I’m sure I can laugh subsequently. I’ll start over this week, forget everything, move on and I’ll try my very best to bury the hatchet and keep my mouth shut, FOR ONE WEEK.
After a few agonizing moments of brooding, I have concluded… Aldolito and I are going to the city of SUGARLANDIA this December. YAY! Yes it’s confirmed, in fact I have our tickets with me now, they’re warm and bright and they just got out of the printer. Woohoo.

Shame on You
I’m as mad as a wrongly shot dog, I think I can fill the entire city with molten lava and create a massive tsunami that reaches the other side of the Pacific. This is so unfair, I’ve been working my arse off against the clock lately like a total mind-altered freak because of some lost balls in the high weeds. GOSH! We are having audits here and there for both quality and security standards, and everyone is practically consumptive.
Can you please tell me if I’m just over reacting or maybe I’m just having a high regard for myself, the past months, everyone has been sitting idly or maybe not everyone, maybe its just me, let’s be honest (ALRIGHT) I won’t speak for anyone but myself. Yes, the past few months, I’d been sitting idly, not because I was lazy, but how can you expect me to work if there is no work. Suddenly, now that we are facing these internal audits, everyone is consumed and Emails are practically flying everywhere. Yesterday, I needed to register some documents so in result, I had to Email people and ask for conclusive response. It is imperative that they send their response in a prompt manner because time is of the essence.
The big cheese instructed me to subsequently call them for a follow up otherwise I won’t get a response if I only rely on E-mail. BOOM! I’m like WHAT? As if some bomb exploded right in front of me, I was strucked by terror. I reckoned, aren’t we provided with this E-mail thing for fast and timely correspondence, then why the hell do we have to use the effing phone for follow up, if we have written a concise E-mail stipulating everything that the recipients need to do and and they know deeply that it is of great importance and all they have to do is to be decisive and revert the effing Email to where it came from. Is that too difficult to manage? That’s just undoubtedly stupid.
Are you one of those people who dont respond to Emails and you wait for a stupid follow up phone call before you do something about it? Well, if you are one of them then shame on you. Don’t be an employee, people like you should not work, you should just stay at home and pick your nose the whole day or better yet, make your lousy brain rot for all I care, you will surely be useful there than spend your time in an office and ruin other people’s lives or wait, do you even have a brain? Do you really think we are that stupid? I’ve seen it from my inbox that you have read the Email since I had my read receipt turned on. If you need time to be able to focus more then tell me. You can send me an Email like this “I will need more time to review this but I will definitely get back to you not later than (state your date), but don’t leave me hanging and trying to squeeze blood from a turnip and then when I give you a call, you’ll respond. I’m so browned off, I’m in too much dread thinking that I will have to spend two more weeks in this sense-forsaken place.

Random Thoughts
I’d been idle at work for quite some time and now that I’m resigning, suddenly work is coming in loads. I’m so lazy, if I can just take a terminal leave, I would do it so I don’t have to be here anymore. After all, I’ve got so much stuff to do yet so little time. I can use the time just to sit at home, read a pile of books which have been sitting for months now in the shelf or I can watch the complete season 1 and 2 of Gossip Girls as I have bought a bootleg dvd of it, a few weeks ago. I’m also thinking of going to the market to get my sewing set, in the days to come I will be practicing embroidery, I’ll start off with sequins and shimmering beads and laces. Gosh I’m so excited. However, its just sad because instead of doing all of these things while I’m waiting for my first day in my new job, I have to sit here and work my arse off till the effective date of my resignation. WHEW! Its a good thing though that every once in a while I get to express all of my whiny demons through this blog, if you call this once in a while. I found out lately that expressive writing is actually good for your health. Expressive writing makes your mind and body sound, according to research. Isn’t that cool?
I have finally got in touch with almost all of the people who are dear to me and earlier today I was musing. It seems like towards the last quarter of this year everyone whom I know had been afflicted with utter madness and irrational life imbalance. It seems like everyone is sufferring from constant anxiety because a member of their family is in the hospital, like one of the person whom I work with here, her dad has been constantly going in and out of the ICU due to heart, lungs and kidney complications in result he needed to undergo a dialysis. Su, one of my dearest friends, just got back from her Diwali vacation from India and as she described it was a tremendous horror as her ex-boyfriend have gone utterly moronic, and did a lot of hairbrained scheme. I will not tell you in details how moronic he is but if your ex tells you that he’ll commit suicide because he hates seeing you with other person……I hope you can tell conclusively. With the impending economic recession in the US, Mayank is continuously seeking for a new job as he got retrenched, this is a real tough time for him. These are just among the many terrible mishaps that have happened lately. I wonder what the next year is holding for all of us. We can only hope for the BEST.
I’ve been having this dreadful habit lately of opening and closing friendster like a psycho. LOL And then as I open it, I am constantly reminded of our 10th year highschool reunion this December along with the other centennial batch’98 graduates. WOW I can hardly believe it, that it’s been 10 years since I’ve graduated from highschool. It seems surreal because a lot of things have happened, a lot of changes had taken place and people seem to come and go to different places, different situations and yet we are all still here, about to celebrate our tenth year. Contrary to what most people may consider that highschool is the best years ever, for me it’s the college years because in college I was able to identify who my real friends are. The people who stood by me through triumph and strife that in spite of conflict in schedules you still find time and take an effort to see each other; it was the time when I started to see the real world and embraced it as it is; it was the time when I started to adopt the unconventional things, that life can be more interesting by doing new and different things. My highschool years were full of fun too and memories that I will cherish for eternity, it’s just that I was too conservative in a way that I was self-restraint in both speech and behavior and prudently free from ostentation. Nevertheless, I have no regrets. To St. Joseph School – La Salle batch’98, see you all in December.

Things to Look Forward to
As I wait for the clock to tick at 4 PM so I can go home, I couldn’t help myself but convert my thoughts into words by typing them in this inutile computer. There are a lot of things that I have to look forward to in the coming days.
To the Twilight fans our long wait shall end at last. The mind-blowing New York Times Bestseller Twilight saga is emblazoning in a motion picture. The incomparable love story of Edward Cullen and Isabella Swan – it premieres in the theaters near you in the 21st of November. Don’t forget the popcorn.
I’m excited to start with my new job. I’m sure that it won’t be easy as the resposibilities are bigger but I’m anxious and I hope that things will be brighter on that side.
After 11 years of bittersweet journey of being together. Ateng and King are finally tying the knot on the 13th of December. The love birds are really meant for each other. I’m so happy for them. Watch out, I’ll sing one of the wedding songs.
We will be launching the world premiere of our online clothing store in the nearest future. Prepare yourself for super hot and original items, brought to you by ____.
If things are well, Aldolito and I might spend our christmas and New Year in the city of Sugarlandia – Bacolod. I can’t wait to sink my teeth on original chicken inasal, kansi, nilaga, pasayan etc. waaaaaah
And of course the holiday season – the most wonderful time of the year.
